I'm such behind the times here and might sound silly, but I have a couple of stupid questions. I just got a motorola phone ( free with plan nothing special) and it has bluetooth on it. I knew people that had bluetooth and they send each other ringtones and stuff and it didnt cost them anything. How can I do that? Will it cost me??[unsure] What can I do with bluetooth for free what are the benfits of having it? Like I said I know I'm behind but I dont know what bluetooth is exactly or how to work it. I've never had it before but if I can get free ringtones form it thats great! The ones on the phone are lame as I'm sure you all know.
I just have a simple little plan I dont have the internet on it so I hope that doesn't screw me! Thanks alot!

Bluetooth allows you to send pictures, ringtones, MSM, MP3's and other datas to other bluetooth-enabled mobile phones. As I remember, it doesn't cost me anything to use the bluetooth features on my phone. To use bluetooth, simply activate. Navigate through your phone menu and go to bluetooth. You then choose to find other phones with bluetooth that are activated. You select the username of the phone and then send to it whatever data you wanted to send. Hope this helps!

You can transfer ringtones to other phones that is bluetooth and no it doesn't cost you anything. It's totally free. Now some phones are not compatible with other bluetooth phones, that is depending on the services.
I have Cingular ,Razor, phone and my sister in law has a bluetooth phone with Sprint and I can't transfer ringtones to her because of different phones and services. To transfer ringtones through bluetooth, go to tools and select connections, turn on bluetooth and look or devices and it should pick up a device, once it has found a device select the device. Then go to your sounds and find a ringtone and copy to the device that was found or you can just go to your sounds and pick a ringtone and select to transfer the ringtone and it will ask you to temporarily turn on bluetooth, select yes and then it will find the device.
Good Luck!
